A field journal

Some places you
travel to. Others
you only wonder about.

Notes on movement, distance, and the small strange moments in between β€” written from wherever the road (or the mind) currently is.

Current route
NAIROBI SOMEWHERE, EN ROUTE A ROOM WITH A GOOD WINDOW NEXT, TBD

Written on the move, mostly.

Wondering Wanderer isn't a guidebook. There are no "10 things to pack" lists here β€” plenty of other sites do that better. This is closer to a journal kept a little too honestly: the long bus rides, the meals eaten alone and not minding it, the places that didn't photograph well but stayed with me anyway.

Some entries are about actual distance β€” a coast, a border, a city that took longer to understand than expected. Others are about the kind of wandering that doesn't need a ticket: a thought followed too far, a question left open on purpose.

If you're looking for certainty, this probably isn't it. If you like the feeling of being slightly lost in good company β€” welcome.
